Start Something

At our church, we believe the Body of Christ is most alive when everyone brings their gifts to the table. “Start Something” is one of the ways that we empower you to do just that. If you see a need, have a vision, or feel a burden for something that God is encouraging you to lead—this is a great place for you to begin.

Starting something isn’t just about having a good idea. It’s about prayerfully counting the cost, being willing to lead, and committing to the work. This form gives us details about who you are and what God has put on your heart.

Let’s be the church—together.

We’re excited that you’re thinking about starting something new that will benefit the body of Christ. The questions below will help you (and us) formulate a great plan on what to do next. If God’s stirring something in you, we want to know about it.

We believe that all leadership in the church begins with a personal relationship with Jesus. If you’re not sure where you stand yet, that’s okay — we would love to talk with you more about that.

Baptism is an outward expression of an inward transformation — a public declaration of faith in Jesus. While it’s not about perfection, we encourage all leaders to take this step of obedience as part of their spiritual journey.

To start something here, we ask that you’ve been part of our community for at least 6 months and consider Crossroads your home church. This helps ensure you’re rooted in our vision and values before leading something new.

Starting something means you’re not just bringing the idea — you’re stepping up to lead it. This won’t be something you hand off to staff or others to run. We’re here to support and guide you, but you will be responsible for moving it forward. Do you have the time, energy, and commitment to lead this well?
